Mission Statement/Purpose

Rhythm of the River:  An annual festival that brings people of all ages together in celebration of Music, the Arts, and Community.

 

Goals:

• To support an annual community event that offers a variety of music and art for all ages.

• To expose festival goers to new music, singers, songwriters, and genres while giving artists an opportunity to share, display and showcase their material.

• To gather friends, family, and neighbors in a multi generational setting that celebrates the beauty of the DesMoines River Valley, the City of Jackson, and the community that brings them together.

• To offer a professional quality event that is inclusive of all income levels and is not a financial burden to families who attend together.

• To promote Jackson as a destination for The Arts through an enjoyable and well managed Annual Music Festival.
